For the last 85 years, The Junior League of Victoria, Texas Inc.’s sole mission has been to impact the community by developing the potential of women through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
Our passion for connecting community needs with resources has helped establish pivotal organizations in Victoria, including Gulf Bend Center and the Children’s Discovery Museum. Your continued support allows us to offer funds to other local non-profit organizations that align with our community impact focus through our Community Assistance Fund Grant Program.
Over the last year, the League’s community impact projects were focused on addressing food insecurity among college students, promoting parent-child relationships to improve literacy, and supporting the basic needs of children and families associated with VISD’s Kidz Connection. Our continuous community needs research has led to the development of our current efforts to provide resources for foster care families and people with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD).
The funds raised through our annual Charity Ball allow us to continue pursuing the efforts of these impactful projects. In our continued dedication to supporting volunteerism in Victoria and the surrounding areas, we hope to broaden our horizons and efforts in the year to come to make a true impact during this unprecedented time.
We cordially invite you to the Viva La Misión Charity Ball on March 26, 2022, at the Spring Creek Place Event Center.
We hope you will join us this year for a true fiesta to celebrate Victoria’s rich history and our efforts as an organization.
